About the Role

Nammo is hiring two Director IT Business Partners, each responsible for aligning business objectives with IT services within different Business Units (BUs), ensuring that technology solutions support overall strategic goals. One role will focus on Aerospace Propulsion (BU AP), while the other will oversee Large Caliber Systems and Small and Medium Caliber Ammunition (BU LCS and SMCA).

These positions serve as key liaisons between IT and business operations, ensuring that technology solutions support strategic objectives and operational efficiency. By developing strong partnerships with the business units’ leadership, the Directors will translate business needs into actionable IT initiatives, drive digital transformation, and enhance service delivery.

The role requires a combination of strategic vision and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on emerging technologies, risk management, and digital innovation. Reporting to the VP IT, the Directors will collaborate with BU Representatives, internal IT teams, and external vendors to drive impactful IT strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support business strategy execution, focusing on emerging technologies and digital transformation.

• Identify and translate business needs into actionable IT initiatives, avoiding silos and inefficiencies.

• Oversee the delivery of IT services and solutions, ensuring they meet business expectations.

• Develop strong partnerships with key internal stakeholders to ensure IT strategies align with business goals and defined priorities.

• Ensure clear and inclusive communication between IT and BUs, promoting transparency and alignment.

• Foster innovation by identifying technologies that improve efficiency and competitiveness.

• Oversee risk management efforts by identifying potential risks in IT projects and working cross-functionally to mitigate them.

• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to drive business-enhancing solutions.

• Advocate for continuous improvement by incorporating business feedback into future IT service enhancements and strategic planning

Additionally, you will be tasked with optimizing resource allocation and overseeing budget management for IT initiatives, ensuring both short-term efficiency and long-term strategic success.

Who are we looking for?

To excel in this role, you should be a strategic thinker with a strong operational mindset, capable of aligning IT with business objectives, driving digital transformation, and fostering innovation. You thrive in cross-functional environments, where collaboration is key, and approach challenges with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, finance, or administrative fields is required, along with hands-on experience in system implementations and IT project management. A deep understanding of Enterprise IT and digital transformation is essential to effectively navigate the evolving technology landscape.

Experience working in international organizations is highly valued, as is a background in Business Relationship Management (BRM), which can provide additional insights into bridging IT and business functions.
