Key role in financial reporting for the Telenor Group!
Are you motivated to work and develop within a global environment and play a key role in the financial reporting for the Telenor Group?
As Business Controller in Telenor Group’s finance department, you will be a part of the Controlling, Planning and Analysis (CPA) team, which is responsible for business controlling and preparation of monthly financial reports and presentations to the Group’s executive management and to the Board, and also plays a key role in preparing the Group’s external quarterly reporting.
The team works closely with other functions within Telenor Group’s finance department, as well as the finance teams in the business areas. The team consists of highly skilled and motivated employees, with a leader who focuses on delivering valuable insight to key stakeholders, by developing the team and the individuals. The team will give you good support in developing into the role.
You will have the opportunity to work with the following:
- Participate in the Group’s monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including process planning, data extraction, performance analysis, and forecasting.
- Contribute to analysis and presentation of development in main drivers for the Group’s financial performance.
- Contribute to other relevant ad hoc analyses, projects and processes.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Master degree within business or finance.
- Excellent communications skills with proficiency in English.
- Extensive knowledge using MS-Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge or ability to quickly familiarise with relevant systems and automation tools.
- Strong analytical skills, coupled with ability to present complex matters in a way that makes it easy for key stakeholders to understand the essence of the analysis.
- Interest in the drivers behind financial performance and understanding financial results and value creation in a broader context.
