Selling my Priority Apollo gravel bike, a super low-maintenance and smooth-riding bike that’s great for commuting and gravel riding year round.
Frame size is XL, I’m a 194cm rider and it was comfortable for me. Previous owner was 188cm tall.
I bought it second-hand on Finn in June 2024 from the first owner, who had only put around 200km on it before storing it away. Since then, I’ve put around 1600km on it without any issues and I did not use it during winter . The bike is in great working condition with no damage affecting performance, just some minor scratches from regular use. The Gates Carbon Belt Drive and Shimano Alfine 11-speed internal gear hub make it a quiet and hassle-free ride, which is one of the reasons I ended up buying an e-bike with the same system.
At around 500km, I had the bike professionally serviced at BikeBrothers Pilestredet, where they did a full maintenance check, cleaned the Shimano Alfine hub, replaced the oil, changed a couple of rusty screws, set the wheels up tubeless, replaced the handlebar tape (BBB UltraRibbon BHT-15), and changed the brake pads. The tires were also upgraded to Goodyear Connector Ultimate for better performance on mixed terrain. In September 2024, I swapped out the stock seatpost for an Easton seatpost for added comfort. The tubeless sealant was refreshed in November 2024.
The belt drive was replaced once because I had set the tension wrong and it broke, but I’m including a spare belt (worth around 700 NOK) with the bike.
The bike comes with the pedals shown in the photos if wanted (if not, I’ll keep them and knock off 200 NOK). It also includes a rear fender (worth around 250 NOK). The saddle is not included.
I’m selling it because I now have a dedicated e-bike for commuting and want a separate bike for training that I can also use on an indoor trainer. I originally bought it for 18,000 NOK, and brand new, with shipping and taxes from the US, it would have been around 30,000 NOK. I’ve put about 5,500 into it with maintenance, upgrades, and replacements.
This bike is perfect for someone who wants a reliable, quiet, and extremely low-maintenance gravel/commuter bike that doesn’t require constant tinkering. It also has mounting points for extra storage and bottle cages, making it great for longer rides or bikepacking.
Extra advantage of belt drive is also the ability to ride it in winter and keep the maintenance to minimum - all it needs is a shower, no chain to degrease and oil.
