Project Logistics Coordinator

Join our Logistics Team at Neuver Maritime in Ålesund and play a key role in our Logistics department!
In this role, you will be one of the main contacts for Logistics in the company. The Logistics team are responsible for all orders leaving our warehouse in Brattvaag and Hagavik. (Including our manufacturing sites) With specific competence within logistics, you will be the source of information for all types of shipments.
You will be responsible for ensuring good communication and optimal logistical flow related to project execution for several order types. Having specific competence within logistics, you are a key source of information for a broad part of the organization, supporting everything from sales to delivery. Through a proactive nature and ability to find optimal solutions, you are contributing to a positive result for the company.

Key accountabilities
- Work closely with project managers in the Delivery organization, to ensure timely execution of project related tasks.
- Book freight solutions for project shipments from our warehouses and manufacturing sites
- Ensure shipping and customs documentation are handled accurately for all shipments
- Contact point for the organization with regards to subjects such as Incoterms, import / export of goods, etc.
- Support LC’s (letter of credit), ensuring KM present correct and complete documentation.
- Support customer invoicing process, ensuring correct data and timely execution.
- Handle project specific shipments from both internal and external supply chain.
- Stay updated on rules and regulations with regards to import / export of goods
- Ensure correct booking and approval of transport invoices.
- Provide sales support with regards to logistical solution, ensuring optimal terms and cost for future contracts.
Qualifications and experience
- Logistical and / or commercial education on bachelor level, and/or minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- Special engagement and insight within the subject of international transport and logistics is considered a prerequisite.
- Knowledge and experience using IT tools and ERP
