Mechanical Design Engineer ROV

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Bergen. This role involves the development, design, and documentation of ROV-related equipment. The ideal candidate has experience in mechanical design, 3D modeling, and engineering documentation. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and customers to develop innovative subsea solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for ROV-related equipment. 

• Perform detailed engineering, including 3D modeling and technical documentation. 

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure high-quality manufacturing and delivery. 

• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards. 

• Provide technical support during manufacturing, testing, and integration. 

• Contribute to a strong technical environment by sharing knowledge and expertise. 

Qualifications & Experience 

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education. 

• Experience in mechanical design, preferably within subsea, offshore, or related industries. 

• Experience in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo. 

• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
