We are now looking for a Warehouse associate to join our team.

MRC Global Norway AS, Norway's leading company in Piping, Valves, and Instrumentation, is now looking for a new Warehouse associate in Stavanger. We are experiencing strong growth in both the traditional oil and gas market as well as in offshore wind. A warehouse associate have a duty to contribute towards the company goals. For this specific role that means to deliver the correct items, of the correct quality at the correct time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Keep the warehouse areas neat and clean.

• Facilitate and plan for smart and effective processes.

• Assist in keeping the correct material in the correct BIN location with the correct labeling.

• Pick and pack material according to pick tickets and marking/packing procedures.

• Deliver the correct MTRs and documentation and record heat numbers in SAP for traceability.

• Loading/offloading of incoming and outgoing orders.

• Cycle counting.

• Create and follow up on NCRs.

• Any other ad-hoc duties that may be delegated by management that are within the capabilities of the warehouse associate/Inspector

Education, Experience & Ability Requirements

Any combination of requirements, which provide knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities, will be considered.

• Logistics education or relevant experience.

• Good verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English.

• Organized and calm under pressure.

• Understanding of our ERP system. (SAP)

• Certificates needed to handle heavy equipment. (Cranes, forklifts etc.)
