The Eirmyr tea house is now ready for it's forever home, including every little handmade miniature and nature treasure inside. The nature treasures are carefully selected from the arctic fauna throughout the years.
This house is made as an art installation, as a room for you to decorate as the seasons and mood change. For me, this process is much like meditation. Collect your own treasures through the seasons, and let the nature elements guide you.
The handmade miniatures that follows:
- one carved tea pot
- two carved tea cups
- one carved plate
- two carved bowls
- two carved pots
- two carved spoons
- one carved tray (no: trau)
- one carved stool
- one carved bowl with bonsai tree (juniper)
- one carved wooden hook (alder)
- one carved wooden vase (alder)
- three carved brooms (alder and spruce)
- one tea table
- one Eirmyr lamp
- miniarure firewood (alder)
- miniature firewood (spruce)
You will also get one remote control to turn the lamp and fireplace on / off.
Nature treasures:
- one willow tree root from Ramfjorden.
- one stepping stone from the northern most city in the world, Longyearbyen, Svalbard. More locally: Reveneset.
- dried berries and seeds from Skibotn, Ramfjorden and Senja.
The clay of the house itself containes chrushed coal from the Svalbard mountains.
