Geo Operations Personnel

Petrolink is looking for experienced Geo Operations Personnel for planning and execution of production and exploration wells.

Contract location: Offshore 14/21 rotation

Tasks

This position will require you to work offshore as a Wellsite Geologist and onshore as Geoscientist Well Execution in our Geo Operations Centre as well as contribute in well planning teams. Following shift schedule 2 on and 3 off offshore and the GOC shift schedule onshore.

Qualifications

We are looking for the right candidate with the following qualifications:

• Adaptable and flexible in their attitude towards required work; offshore work as wellsite geologist or working in our onshore geo operations center with production wells should be seen as just as important as performing well planning.

• Happy to work nightshifts as well as day shifts.

• Self-Starter: Will seek out what to do and how to do it rather than wait to be told.

• Team oriented; thinking in terms of what benefits the project and how they can help.

• Persistence; will follow up on questions and queries.

• Preparedness: being ready with justifications and confident in delivering information if queried or challenged.
