Test Engineer - Electronics

In Controls & Automation product line at the Client,  they are developing the technology platforms for the electrification of Subsea Control Systems and enabling of renewable energy sources like offshore wind, hydrogen, and wave.

Electronics product team is working with R&D and PLM(Product Life Cycle Management)  of a wide range of product and system technologies including SEM(Subsea Electronic Modules), TEM(Topside Electronic Modules), Motor drives, Battery modules, power supplies, functional safety products, downhole interface, computers, communication and networking. These technologies are utilized in the different control system applications.

In the Electronics environment you will be involved in design, development, qualification, system integration, production, and support of products throughout commissioning and introduction to field operation. The product environment is multidisciplinary with HW, SW/FW, system, test, mechatronics, and production engineering teams working closely.

We are looking to hire early-career Electronics Test and Senior Test Engineers focused on Power, control and monitoring Electronics for our Hardware Testing team.

Your main tasks will be:

• Create test procedures and write test reports on functional, environmental, and system operation mode testing of custom electronic designs
• Build test set-ups for functional verification of electronic boards as power supplies, power switches, CPU/MCU boards, power line modems, back-planes, motor controllers, battery controllers, chargers and IO modules.
• Establish set-ups with automation to conduct environmental testing of electronics with temperature and mechanical exposure stress.
• Perform qualification testing of electronics according to API 17F for Subsea Control System Electronics compliance.
• Collaborate with board developers to secure DFT(Design For Test) requirements in product in order implement testability in the product designs.
• Work together with the developers and reliability engineers to build ALT(Accelerated Life Time Testing) to create lifetime predictions.
• Failure analysis of critical failures in engineering, production and field operation to improve product design and test coverage improvements.

• BSc or Technical vocational school in electronics, automation, cybernetics, or similar engineering
• Capable of structural approach to solve problems
• Open-minded, speak professional English, and adaptable for working
