VARD Digital Innovation & IT provides a variety of services within IT operations and support. With focus on efficient and stable operations, we provide local support on infrastructure and business systems combined with continual improvements. Our IT organization consists of 70 employees globally, where 40 are in Norway, and seeks to strengthen the infrastructure team with a System Administrator within the Cloud area.

Duties and responsibilities
As System Administrator, you will be part of the global Infrastructure and support team. The team is responsible for delivering services in areas such as networking, cloud, server, data centre operations, security and support to the entire group. The position involves responsibility for specific technical areas in close collaboration with external suppliers.
Based on qualifications and current needs in the department you will be responsible for one or more technological areas:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain the company’s cloud environments (e.g., Azure, SaaS) to ensure optimal performance and scalability
- Security and Compliance: Ensure infrastructure security and compliance by monitoring access, usage, and resources in close collaboration with Vard Cyber Resilience
- Responsible for system and operational documentation
- Contribute actively to developing the department's IT services
- Management of the IT infrastructure in cooperation with third parties
- Participate in IT projects
Qualifications
- Relevant higher education or documented relevant experience
- ITSM knowledge in the ITIL framework
- Certified in AZ-104, SC-900
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices Automation and Scripting (Terraform/PowerShell/etc)
Not Essential, but an advantage:
- Three or more years of experience in support of Azure Cloud
- Certified in MS-900, SC-400, AZ-700, AZ-500, MS-102 or equivalent certifications
- ITIL certification
