As Sub/Log Cost Controller you are part of the Aker BP Business Finance Team responsible to challenge, support, advise and control costs and financial performance and processes within the Supply Chain and Logistics Business Unit (SCM&LOG BU).
We are looking for someone to strengthen our finance team to execute cost control activities supporting subsea and logistics operations across all our assets. Furthermore, to expand support for a growing subsea scope for Aker BP, as our company build for future success.
Typical work tasks can be:
Provide cost control and cost allocation activities related to our Assets subsea inspection, maintenance and repair needs (IMR services), and support our logistics cost allocation process
Review cost and commitments incurred, prepare accruals, assure actuals, prepare variance analysis, prepare forecasts within area of responsibility and provide cash forecasting input
Actively support the VP Subsea Execution Manager with their Budget Executors and Budget Manager responsibilities to ensure budget and forecast deliveries
Work closely with Asset cost controllers and provide support to cost recipients across our assets and business units.
Parameters for success in the role includes:
The ability to effectively navigate and use our systems including SAP and Fiori for reporting and forecasting, utilize power BI reports and excel.
Communicate and coordinate processes, managing several stakeholders
Understanding the main elements of the logistics and subsea operations.
Familiar with relevant financial regulations and accounting principles including the Joint Operating Agreement.
Skills and qualifications:
Minimum master's degree in economics or equivalent education
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
Strong analytical skills
Strong Microsoft Office systems skills (Power BI, Excel, etc)
Preferably experienced with SAP
Norwegian and English
