Project Design Engineer

Join our team at Neuver Maritime in Brattvåg and play a key role in our Engineer to Order and Product department! We are now looking for a Project Design Engineer to specialize within the Electrical discipline and contribute to the development and delivery of our industry-leading Steering Gear solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical documentation for control systems on Steering Gear deliveries
• Offer technical expertise and experience related to Steering Gear products
• Contribute to product maintenance and development, including technical documentation
• Participate in product and process improvement projects
• Support manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams with engineering expertise
• Provide technical support to Sales and Contract Management teams
• Collaborate with our aftermarket organization to resolve customer issues

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or similar education within Electrical Engineering
• Relevant work experience may compensate for formal education
• Experience using Siemens Teamcenter is an advantage
• Experience with Cadett ELSA or other CAD tools is a plus
• Background from manufacturing or the maritime industry is an advantage
