DN Media Group is seeking an ESG & Financial Controller to take a central role in driving our sustainability efforts while supporting high-quality financial reporting and compliance across the Group.

This is a unique opportunity to combine your passion for sustainability with financial controlling, ensuring that DN Media Group remains both financially strong and environmentally responsible.

You will join the Finance Team and work cross-functionally with various departments and our newly established Sustainability Team. The position reports directly to Group Chief Accountant with a dotted line to the CFO, both of whom are based in Oslo.

Your key responsibilities

Sustainability

• Support in development and implementation of the Group's sustainability strategy, action planning and goal setting

• Act as a liaison between finance, operations and sustainability stakeholders to ensure coordinated ESG efforts

• Lead sustainability reporting, including data collection, analysis and compliance with relevant sustainability regulations

• Act as subject matter expert for sustainability analytics, governance and reporting

• Maintain and enhance the Group`s double materiality assessment

• Monitor sustainability initiatives, track progress and ensure timely reporting

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainability awareness and best practices

Finance

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for the Group, together with the Group Chief Accountant

• Support in cash flow management

• Contribute to the improvement of internal control routines and processes

Your background:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting or relevant field

• 3-5 years of relevant experience

• Strong interest in sustainability with good understanding of ESG frameworks and regulatory requirements

• Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations

• Project management skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines

• Experience with financial systems (ERP systems etc.) and processes, preferably within a group structure

• Fluent in both written and spoken Norwegian and English
  

• Team player with strong collaboration skills to bridge finance and sustainability efforts within the Group

• Solution-oriented mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

• Self-driven and proactive with a passion for continuous improvement
