The Project Technical Manager position is an important and recognised role in Ocean Installer with significant opportunity to influence our business, organisation and work environment.

- Responsible for the technical execution of projects/ tenders/ studies with focus on reducing cost & maximizing profit without compromise to quality or safety
- Lead high competent, multi discipline project engineering team within following segments of the industry:
- Offshore Field Developments,
- Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF)
- Tow and Mooring Operations
- Renewables
- Decommission
- Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM)
- Define and organize the Project Engineering Team to achieve project success
- Define the various job responsibilities and set common expectations at early stage
- Establish and maintain project CTRs and ensure alignment with the agreed deliverables and resources
- Drive efficient and sensible engineering solutions, monitor progress and adjust when/ if required
- Manage onshore and offshore operations schedule development, tracking of changes, and maintenance together with the Project Planner
- Provide technical support and guidance, and encourage personal development of your team members
- Establish and maintain client relationships, building trust and opportunities
- Facilitate good communication and collaboration with clients, subcontractors/ suppliers and colleagues
Who we`re looking for

So, if you do possess some of these qualities, we could be a perfect match:
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience
- Significant experience within the subsea construction industry, North Sea and International field development projects
- Engineering degree, Master or Bachelor
- Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, results-focused, and quick to make informed decisions
