Sony a390 is the last Sony camera with a CCD sensor. It came after all brands moved to CMOS so most of the cameras with that kind of sensor topped at 10mp, this one is 14mp. It is a cool camera that sits between old and new. It does have a live view, which is incredible for a camera of this age. Colors from it are great. Black and white is even better. It does have a tilty screen so it's great for waist level photography. One quirk with it is it drains battery while off, but I always remembered to get it out before leaving it.
