Danfoss Climate Solutions – Food Retail - is looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Sales Manager to strengthen our market position in Norway.
In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring that we continue to support our existing customers effectively, helping them maximize the value of our solutions while maintaining our strong market presence.
You will join a market-leading company with a strong reputation in the cooling and refrigeration industry, contributing to sustainable and energy-efficient solutions in the food retail sector. Enjoy a flexible role where you can leverage remote sales to build strong customer relationships.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage and further develop relationships with existing customers in the Norwegian supermarket sector, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty.
Furthermore, your day-to-day tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Conducting remote sales activities through video calls and phone interactions, and customers visits when needed
Providing internal sales support and collaborating with colleagues in Sweden and possibly Denmark.
Working closely with the Head of Food Retail Nordics & Baltics to drive business growth in Norway.
Supporting the wider Nordic team in sales-related activities and knowledge sharing.
The preferred location is Sandvika. Other locations in Norway can be discussed for the right candidate.
To succeed in this role, you bring a solid background in sales and a technical background such as a degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, or refrigeration technology.
Your experience has equipped you with the ability to manage customer relationships effectively and drive business growth.
Key qualifications include:
Experience in cooling and controls, preferably with knowledge of the Danfoss Adap-Kool range.
Strong technical understanding or the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts.
Experience in developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships
A preference for remote sales, leveraging digital tools to maintain close customer relationships.
Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

You thrive in a dynamic environment where you take ownership and work independently while collaborating closely with colleagues and stakeholders. Your strong communication and negotiation skills enable you to build trust and create value for both customers and the business.
