We're seeking a Regulatory Compliance Lead

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead compliance and verification activities, ensuring our products meet stringent standards and regulations.

• Collaborate with authorities to define and adapt acceptance criteria for innovative technologies.

• Translate new compliance directives into implementable specifications and document compliance.

• Refine software and systems product specifications for quality assurance.

• Design and implement verification and validation procedures.

• Develop and manage safety cases for regulatory approval.

Relevant expertise in this role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in compliance, verification, and regulatory approval of safety-critical software systems.

• Prior experience in maritime, aerospace, automotive, or robotics industries, with a focus on uncrewed systems.

• Experience working with classification societies, regulatory agencies, and certification bodies (IMO, DNV, Lloyd’s Register, ABS).

• Strong understanding of safety and cybersecurity standards (IMO MASS, IEC 61508, ISO 26262, DO-178C, IEC 62443).

• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies (FMEA, HAZID, HAZOP, STAMP).

• Familiarity with classification rules for uncrewed vessels (DNV, Lloyd’s Register, ABS, BV).

• Experience with Type Approvals, System Qualification, Conformity Assessments, and Audits.

• Experience in software verification and validation for safety-critical applications.

• Hands-on experience with SIL, HIL, and real-world testing.

• Proficiency with test management tools (DOORS, Polarion, Jama).

• Experience integrating compliance into Agile and DevOps workflows.
