Experienced Engineer

The Well Services Technology Center in Stavanger (STC) is looking for talented engineers.
Roles will be part of the design team and development of Archers future technologies.
If you have experience within the disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial design, material sciences or in reservoir/production engineering this may be your opportunity to join a great and growing team.

Key responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Design and validation of tools & technologies in line with design specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical applications and solutions.
• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and testing to ensure designs meet functional, performance, and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, such as user manuals, maintenance guides, and technical specifications.
• Implement best practices and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the technology center by proposing new ideas and solutions.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing and skill development activities within the team.

• MSc. in relevant field is preferred
• Candidates with relevant practical work experience will be considered

• Basic understanding of drilling, completion and intervention principles
• Familiar with 3D CAD modelling and FEM simulation software
• And/or experience in reservoir and production engineering roles
