DASHA & MARI form an inseparable duo of photographers. Since obtaining their Masters at London’s Kingston University, the twin sisters have been winning international awards non-stop and collaborating with the most influential fashion magazines. Specialising in black-and-white female nudes, they create intense portraits that sublimate female bodies. Shot in June 2009 in Kiev, in the Ukraine, Backyard Diary belongs to a series dedicated to feminine grace and is inspired by the film world.
