I am very happy with this restoration - When I received the watch it kept poor time, had a cracked crystal and had a very short power reserve. Under the crystal I found a lovely dial in perfect condition. The stainless steel case is also in great shape and has not been polished and retains the nice sharp angles. The new crystal, strap and mainspring has brought this watch back to how it should be.
The watch is quite small - large for a ladies watch but definitely smaller than modern mens watches

About me:
As a pastime I buy old watches and try to restore them to their former glory. To fund my hobby I have decided to sell some of the watches I believe are ready to be, and should be, worn again. The watches I work on are typically those where the paying the price of a full professional service would be hard to justify. Each watch is disassembled, cleaned, inspected, re-assembled, lubricated (with top end modern synthetic oils), demagnetised and then regulated to run as accurately as possible. If spare parts are needed, original parts are ordered or salvaged from watches with the same movements. New gaskets are installed and, if needed, the mainspring and crystal are replaced and a new strap fitted
