About the artist:
Ulrika (Ulla) Eleonora Matilda Procopé-Nyman (1921–1968) is one of Scandinavia's most famous ceramic designers. All her work was produced by the Finish pottery Arabia and every piece was handpainted. She designed he "Valencia collection" in 1960 and it has become a favourite among collectors and enthusiasts around the world. "Valencia" by Ulla Procope is one of Arabia's most beloved table ware series with its vibrant shapes and brilliant shades of cobalt blue - highly collectible and sought after!
I love her beautiful and elegant designs. I have collected her works over several decades and I am now reluctantly selling my entire collection of 128 pieces due to an overseas move later in the year.
