Development Engineer Sandefjord

To strengthen the company's in-house project management and machine design, an independent Machine Development Engineer is sought.

The position of Machine Development Engineer is placed in the Equipment department and reports to Project Group Leader. The Equipment department is divided into the disciplines of Mechanical, Electro and Automation, Project and Supply Chain. The position will have extensive collaboration with other departments, as well as factories, in the group. The position offers great professional challenges.

Key responsibilities and work tasks will be to:

• Lead and participate in the development of existing and new production machines for GRP pipe production.

• When needed act as project manager for multidisciplinary projects related to the production of machines and equipment.

• Follow up on the production of machines, as well as FATs and SATS.

• Follow up on installations and commissioning of projects globally.

• Contributes to the specification and standardisation of components used in machines.

• Contribute with work procedures, tools, and systems used for mechanical design.

• Provide support and service to factories on production machines.

• Prepare necessary documentation.
