Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Automation Engineer in Stavanger!

Are you ready to take your career to the next level with a leading energy company? We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join a dynamic team working on cutting-edge projects within the energy sector.

Location: Stavanger
Planned Start Date: February 2025
Work Schedule: Full-time (5-day work week)
Contract Duration: February 2025 - December 2026

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various teams and handle company work processes and database management.

• Work with Equinor systems (STID-Loop/Tag/Doc, PIMS, Procosys, SAP-PM06/10, ECP, and more).

• Develop essential safety-critical documentation, including SCDs, Cause and Effects diagrams, functional specifications, and IO lists.

• Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers. Fluency in Norwegian is highly appreciated.

• Contribute to projects at different stages, including the Study phase.

What We Are Looking For:

• Education: Master/Bachelor Degree or equivalent education in a related field.

• Experience: Previous experience with Equinor offshore/onshore installations, along with an understanding of Equinor’s technical requirements and work processes.

• Skills:

• Proficient in common communication protocols like OPC, Modbus (RTU and TCP), Profibus, etc.

  • Familiarity with Safety Instrumented Systems and major suppliers.

  • Strong communication skills in English and Norwegian (both written and spoken).

  • Ability to work systematically, accurately, and adhere to deadlines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• EX – Basic Safety (6-8 hours online or 22.5 hours in the classroom)

• FSE – High & Low Voltage incl. First Aid

• Offshore course & health certificate (if not currently held, must be able to complete upon request).
