Aon Graduate Programme

The Graduate Programme will commence end of Summer 2025 (September).
About the Marine team in Norway
Aon Marine team in Norway is based in Oslo, Bergen and Ålesund. The team has great client focus, high commitment and responsibility.
The team is working with Norwegian and international clients. The Norwegian team is part of a large international network of marine insurance broking experts across the globe, with a strong connection and cooperation with our colleagues in particularly London.
What the day will look like
As an Associate Client Service Advisor in Marine, you will be working as part of the wider Client Service team, close to the Marine team, to contribute to delivering high quality client services.
Main tasks will include:
- Managing our existing portfolio alongside the client teams
- Supporting account managers and brokers in their daily tasks
- Recording and updating correspondence and data in our internal systems
- Assisting with tender and renewal processes
- Assisting with corresponding with clients
- Communicating with underwriters regarding insurance documents, invoicing etc.

In this role you will be exposed to various facets of Marine Insurance broking including exposure analyses and insurance placements. You will work close to our experienced Marine Insurance Brokers and our Nordic, EMEA and Global colleagues. This is a one-of-a-kind role working with some of the biggest Norwegian clients with the most complex exposures.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Third level degree (within shipping and logistics is preferred)
- Proficiency in English and Norwegian, both written and spoken
- A genuine interest in understanding our clients’ businesses and help them to manage their exposures.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Enthusiasm and energy for the job, strong work-ethic, self-starter who is comfortable working on their own initiative and working as part of a team
- Ability to operate under pressure and handle deadlines
- Numeracy and analytical abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Comfortable communicating with colleagues and stakeholders of all levels within an organization
- Exercise high levels of discretion in relation to client information – respect for confidentiality requirements
- Experience from insurance-, transport-, logistics-, shipping industry will be viewed as a plus.
