In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Employee Relations: Provide coaching to site leaders on employee relations and performance management, resolve conflicts, address HR inquiries, communicate organizational updates, and assist in union negotiations.
Ethics & Compliance: Oversee ethics investigations and resolutions with confidentiality, ensure data integrity in HR records and reporting, and assist in updating local HR policies and employee handbooks to meet legal requirements in Norway.
Employee Lifecycle Management: Facilitate talent acquisition and compensation processes, oversee employer branding, manage the employee lifecycle, and handle payroll matters including inquiries, input, and approvals.
You are passionate about making a meaningful impact and consistently act with integrity. With excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, you fulfill commitments and thrive on building robust working relationships across all levels of the organization. Trustworthy and diplomatic, you handle confidential and personal information with the utmost discretion. You excel in representing Emerson's interests while skillfully balancing your role as an HR professional and an employee advocate.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Excellent communication skills including fluency in both English & Norwegian
University degree in Human Resources, Business Management or (or equivalent)
5+ years HR experience ideally with a combination of operations, employee relations and business partnering
Knowledge of using HR Information Systems or other databases
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost integrity.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Experience of working in an international matrix organization
Experience of working with Norwegian Unions, Collective Labor Agreements and Works Councils
Experience with working within the Energy sector
Proven experience in improving processes and systems
