Offered here is a rare and original wooden floor lamp by the renowned Swedish lighting designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919–2009). Known for his warm, atmospheric lighting and elegant use of thin wood lamellae, Jakobsson created some of the most iconic Scandinavian lighting pieces of the 20th century.
This particular piece is believed to be an original from the 1960s Ellysett series, handcrafted from bentwood veneer in a spiraling lamella structure mounted on a minimalist wooden tripod base. The lamp gives off an incredibly soft, warm glow that makes it both a functional light and a sculptural centerpiece.

In perfect condition, this lamp typically fetches between:

Condition & Restoration Notes
This lamp is not in perfect condition. Some of the thin wooden lamellae are cracked or broken, and a few small pieces may be missing. There are signs of wear and aging, and some parts have come loose or fallen off. It is a delicate piece that needs careful restoration.
However:
• It is structurally intact from at least one full viewing angle, meaning it can be placed with the damaged side toward a wall and still present beautifully.
• In my judgment, someone skilled in light restoration or woodwork could restore it to near-perfect condition.
• The base and overall form remain elegant and true to Jakobsson’s original aesthetic.
