Vipe 21 is an innovative and forward-looking company experiencing strong growth. We are now seeking a professionally strong, commercially oriented, and committed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with solid business acumen and experience from project-based operations. The company has seen significant growth in recent years, and we now want to strengthen the financial function to ensure our continued expansion.

As CFO at Vipe 21, you will be responsible for the company’s financial operations, compliance and financial reporting. You will work closely with the CEO and the rest of the team to ensure sound financial management and contribute to strategic decisions. You will also be closely involved in operations and contribute to the ongoing management of the project portfolio. This position reports directly to the CEO.

Your main responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the company’s financial management, budgeting, and accounting.

• Support for operations and project execution

• Oversee project accounting

• Preparation of financial analyses and reports for management and the board

• Monitoring liquidity, cash flow, and financing

• Act as the primary point of contact with the external accounting firm and auditors

• Further develop and improve financial routines and systems

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations

• Support contract work with both customers and suppliers, domestically and internationally

• Assist in the preparation of bids and tenders

Desired qualifications:

• Higher education in economics, finance, or accounting (bachelor’s or master’s)

• Relevant experience from a similar role

• Experience from the aviation industry is preferred but not required

• Solid understanding of project accounting

• Experience with contract work

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial matters to both financial and non-financial stakeholders

• Preferably experience with different funding schemes such as SkatteFUNN or grants from Innovation Norway

• Familiarity with VAT in the EU
