Quality Assurance / Testing engineer

Telenor Software Lab owns and develops Min Sky (Capture outside Norway). With 30 employees from 9 different countries working on all aspects of the service - from design and development to maintenance and everything in between.

Min Sky keeps the most precious digital assets, photos and videos, for hundreds of thousands of customers safely stored in the cloud. It offers users an easy way to access and share photos and videos across multiple devices.

You will work closely with the rest of the organisation to make sure that as few bugs as possible reach the customer. You will also try to break the application in creative ways and then describe encountered issues as precisely as possible. 

What you will be doing

- Transforming vague bugs and user-complaints into reproducible scenarios.

- Working closely with developers to catch bugs as early as possible.

- Performing manual testing to evaluate the performance, functionality, and security of our service.

- Overseeing app updates and releases to Apple App Store and Google Play.

- Continuously improving testing procedures to make the release process faster and better.

You should have

- 3+ years of testing and/or Quality Assurance-experience.

- Curiosity about new technologies and process improvements to the testing and release cycle, including both manual and automated testing.

- A critical mind and attention to detail.

You are

- Organised with a systematic approach and attention to detail.

- Fluent in Norwegian (C2) and English (C1) both written and verbal.

- Happy both when working in a team and independently.
