We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Group Treasury to lead and optimise our corporate treasury function. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity planning, funding, bank relations, and financial risk management. The role as VP Head of Group Treasury offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Group's CFO and to manage a team of five dedicated treasury professionals. The role also involves close collaboration with other Group Finance departments as well as heads of finance in the segments, regions, and units to ensure effective financial management and risk mitigation across the Group.
To succeed, you must be results oriented, analytical, structured, and proactive. You must also be a hands-on leader with the ability to drive processes and collaborate well across professional and cultural backgrounds.
Main Responsibilities:
Cash and Liquidity Management: Oversee cash management, liquidity, and
financing across the Group. Optimise and ensure efficient processes for cash repatriation from the units.Funding: Develop and execute a funding plan to ensure sufficient long- and short-term financing of the Group's operations and growth plans. Manage
internal funding requests including assessment of cash flow, capital structure, and appropriate funding sources.Treasury Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain treasury policies and procedures to ensure effective treasury controls as well as
compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on
treasury activities, financial performance, and market trends to senior
management. Responsible for reporting of capital structure, financial items, and financial risks in annual report.Risk Management: Monitor and manage financial risks, including interest rate, currency, credit and refinancing risks. Utilise hedging strategies and financial
instruments in accordance with policies.Bank Relations: Develop and manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions. Ensure that units in the Group have competitive
banking terms.New Technology: Drive innovation in treasury and finance processes in the Group using new technology. This includes optimisation of the department’s new treasury system and implementation of a centralised payment hub.
Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with internal stakeholders to support business objectives and drive financial performance. Lead and mentor the treasury team to achieve department goals and ensure continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field. MBA, master’s degree in Finance, and/or relevant certification preferred (e.g. CFA, CTP).
Minimum 10 years’ experience in treasury management, corporate finance or similar related field, preferably in an international company.
Strong knowledge of treasury operations, financial markets, and financial risk management including hedging instruments.
Strong communication skills with proven ability to develop high-quality decision documents and present information clearly to top management as well as external stakeholders.
Excellent financial analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Knowledge of PowerBI, treasury management systems and financial software is a plus.
Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams.
