About the Company:
At Horizon56, we are developing and implementing cutting edge software solutions for the oil & gas industry. As a testament to this, what we have delivered so far, has been so well received by our users, that we now are in a situation where we need to deliver our products at scale.
You will join our team of software and support engineers where you will provide technical support to our clients, diagnosing and troubleshooting application problems, monitoring and maintaining our production and development of environments in Azure.
The team has a flat, low-key, and fun work environment, where you will be able to bring your opinions and skills to life and build your own future. You will be primarily working from Stavanger, Norway with teams located across Denmark, UK, India and USA.
Primary working hours for this position is 15:00-23:00 Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
Excellent written and verbal English language skills and ability to deliver simple and step-by-step technical assistance for international users.
Working knowledge of Azure Cloud Environment and application services.
Working knowledge of Relational database (MSSQL), windows servers and basic SQL programming.
Ability to maintain Standard Operating Procedures or Knowledge bases and recommend changes whenever required.
Working Knowledge on ITSM, escalation processes and administration. Certification in ITIL V3/V4 foundation is an added advantage.
Experience in the oil and gas industry is a huge plus.
