About the position
Are you a positive, dedicated, and supportive person? And even better, do you happen to love the outdoors and real adventures? Then take the opportunity to join our Customer Relations (CR) team for a 6-month temporary position!
As part of the CR department, you'll help create a positive, solution-oriented environment while sharing your love for the outdoors and knowledge of Norrøna's products. This is a great opportunity to work in one of the most relevant and innovative brands in the outdoor industry. You'll engage with customers on our gear, adventure tours, and more, contributing to a seamless customer journey. And you will work in a team that values collaboration, acts in a professional and structured way, and has a lot of fun while performing towards ambitious goals!
The CR team operates with a rotating work-shift plan and serves customers from all over the world. Working hours are mainly daytime, though some evening shifts may occasionally be required. The shift schedule will be discussed during the recruitment process.
Main areas of responsibilities
- Interact with customers in a personal, efficient, and inspirational way according to agreed experience principles and KPIs (quality, time, and satisfaction)
- Know the Norrøna product offer at a very good level in terms of technical and functional features, and communicate this knowledge in a customer-oriented language across chat, email, and phone
- Effective internal communication, support and coordination with finance controllers, sales coordinators, supply chain coordinators, logistics staff, repair centers,and retail colleagues to make sure we all work for our customers to provide the best experiences possible
- Proactively suggest routine improvements in daily operations of the team
- Proactively report to the leader on critical information from customers and markets that can our customers and improve Norrøna’s business and risk mgt
We believe you’ll succeed in this job if you have
- Proven track record of multitasking in several communication channels at the same time (chat, phone, email, etc.)
- Ability to “tell stories”, not only sharing information
- Very good knowledge of products from the outdoor industry
- You have a genuine interest in the outdoors and is an active person that enjoys being out in nature
- Experience from retail and/or outdoor industry is a plus
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service/relations or retail environment (direct to customer)
- Norwegian and English proficiency is a must (other languages are a plus)
