Exciting position for an International company in Florø

Stadt Sjøtransport AS is a company under the international towing company MedTug. From their base in Florø they perform a wide range of services for the shipping- and oil rig industries in Norway. Their highly skilled wessel crew works 4/4 weeks rotation and are dependent on organized schedules for transportation, courses and other HR-supported issues.

Supporting the management team, the Crew Coordinator/HR Advisor’s main responsibility is to ensure that Stadt Sjøtransport AS at all time has staff and crew with the right skills, competence, and motivation available.

For immediate start the company has a temporary 100% position as


CREW COORDINATOR / HR ADVISOR

Your main tasks will be

 

• Crew management including on-boarding according to flag state requirement and operational need.
• Manage the daily crew movements for the vessels assigned, and support operations and technical by timely assigning crew with the right skills.
• Arrange crew changes in collaboration with operations department and clients.
• Maintain a close work relationship with the Human Resource department in Italy and assist with relevant reporting to the group.
• Cooperate with accounting department to review and approve relevant invoices and other crew related costs.
• Ensure the crew has the appropriate competence/certification and is trained as per company competence matrix and facilitate for further training/familiarisation as required.
• Contribute to continuous development of HR/Crewing concepts and tools throughout the organisation.
• Assist with administrational tasks as required.

We look for this kind of background and competences

 

• Hopefully some previous experience in crewing or HR coordination in the maritime industry, but if you are experienced in office-administration you can be qualified as well
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Computer skills and a fast learner of new programs
• Strong communication in both English and Norwegian, oral and written
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
• Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours or on-call duties when required.
