Too Negative No. 3 February 1995.
Too Negative (TN) published by Tom Shobo 1994 - 2001, is a cult Japanese art gallery in photo book format edited by legend publisher and NG Gallerist Kotaro Kobayashi (Ultra Negative, ORG).
TN origin may be found in the concepts of ‘Eros’ and ‘Thanatos’ - a lineage it share with the controversial 1920s ero-guro magazine Hentai Shiriou (Pervert Documents).
Too Negative manifest the 1990s freedom fight that took place in Japanese and international subculture. A large scale attempt to create a generational political, social and spiritual shift within the contemporary. TN targeted actively established press laws, publishing etiquette and the political establishment.
This issue features: Expanded contributions from photograpers Kiyoshi Ikejiri and Kiyotaka Tsurisaki; works and front cover art by artist Trevor Brown, plus death and medical photography and much more.
