It has the optional GPU power board installed and a total of 4x 16x PCIe full-length, full-height slots.

One PERC is running the original firmware, and the other has been flashed with HBA/IT mode. The HBA/IT mode enables the direct disc access to the HDDs connected to that controller. This is perfect for ZFS / TrueNAS or experimenting with Ceph or Minio, which needs direct access to the underlying HDD. Flashing either PERC H710 into either firmware mode is quite simple if you prefer another setup.

Total 24 out of 32 HDDs installed, with 8 empty trays filling up the remaining slots - just waiting for more HDDs to be installed. One of the 16 SAS HDDs are showing "predicative failure". Based on some Googling, I'm pretty sure this is a false positive, because when attempting to replacing this drive with a spare resulted in the same thing in the same slot. This HDD is included as-is.

The server was rack mounted, so it is missing the top cover. I have bought the original rolling feet for it but not installed them. They will be included.

The server comes with an extra fan and 1-2 extra 600GB SAS disks.

I've had it running for less than 3 months total since I bought it.

Sold as is, but I'll gladly power it up, hook up a screen and keyboard and let you run any tests you want before you decide!

Has to be picked up in Oslo by car, it is quite heavy. I will not ship it.

Possible trades: Vintage computers from late 1970 - early 1980 might be interesting.
