Extremely rare rally icon from Subaru STi, for the family and in user-friendly station wagon format.
Only sold in the Japanese market, there are only a handful in Sweden and not many more in Europe outside the UK.
Reasonably priced because the car has some cosmetic rust, especially in the rear fenders (see pictures) and tailgate.
Was imported by us to Sweden in 2010. Has full auction history (damage free, top rating) from Japan.
Recently had a major service including oil, spark plugs, air filter and more.
Mechanically well serviced, i.a. clutch and radiator changed in addition to frequent service intervals.
Runs like clockwork in the engine/gearbox, the power of the turbo delivers exactly as it should.
An extensive renovation has been done to the vital parts of the chassis:
Rear cross member, spider joints, front and rear droplinks, rear anti-roll bars, etc. are exchanged.
Only Subaru OEM or high quality parts from motorsport specialist Roger Clark Motorsports in England have been used.
The car is close to original except for upgrades such as Tein FLEX coilovers and a stainless steel Fujitsubo cat-back exhaust system.
The car had the control box (ECU) adjusted upon arrival in Sweden, to fit European fuel (lower octane number and get better fuel consumption and reliability).

The model received from the factory many upgrades exclusive to the Impreza STi such as:
Larger intercooler, low back pressure exhaust system, upgraded suspension components including STi sport springs, revised struts at each corner and larger anti-roll bars.
The Forester STi is also equipped with a different steering gear with faster ratios, resulting in more distinct steering.
