Project Controller

Aker Solutions, Project Control & Risk Norway West, is responsible for delivering excellent project controlling services in Brownfield projects within the Oil & Gas service industry.
The team consists of ~ 40 project controllers with diverse background and skills, all supporting ongoing Brownfield projects along the coast, from Egersund in the south to Sandnessjøen in the North,

We are now looking for a multi-disciplined Project Controller who can strengthen our team in Kristiansund.

Responsibilities and Tasks      

The Project Controller is responsible for securing sound financial control in the project, support project and business management with proactive controller services.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Cost control (hours, expenses, procurement)
•Client invoicing

•Control and follow up of subcontractors
•Estimation and change management related to tasks
•Involvment in risk management
•External and internal financial reporting

Qualifications and Personal Qualities     

•Preferably a Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration or Finance
•Preferably 3-7 years relevant experience from one or several areas within cost control, change management, planning and estimation in Brownfield projects.  However, recent graduates are encouraged to apply for the position.
•Good financial, commercial and technical understanding of execution in Brownfield projects
•Analytical skills
•Proactive, accurate, loyal and committed – and a valuable team player
•IT/systems: Experience from SAP Finance and CCS is an advantage. Excellent excel skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills

•Ability to take initiaive and to be flexible

•Fluent in Norwegian and English - verbally and orally
