Software Engineer
Job description
- Be a member of Scrum teams responsible for full life cycle of development from specification and design through implementation and testing.
- Be proactive in use of new technology.
- Perform peer-reviews of other team member's code.
- Create intuitive products that provide great user experience.
- Work collaboratively with product managers and engineers to produce quality products in an international and multicultural environment.
- Create products that adhere to security and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer. Engineering, Electronics or Engineering Cybernetics.
- Confident in written and verbal English. English is official company language.
- In depth knowledge in some of the following areas of working experience:
- Qt Framework
- node.js
- OpenGL, Vulkan
- Communication systems and protocols like HTTP, JSON, Modbus, CAN bus, BACnet, TCP/IP, serial
- Development of network communication applications
- SQL or NoSQL databases (like LevelDB, MongoDB, MySQL, SQLite)
- C, C++, JavaScript and Python
- UML used in software design
- Usage of test tools frameworks
- Development environments for distributed embedded systems on Linux
- Embedded Linux and interfacing to HW
- Development of uController real time SW without OS
- Portfolio of completed projects would be an asset
- Agile software development such as Scrum / Kanban
Assets
- Development with system dependent on standards (IEC 61508 or other standards)
- Experience in Web applications (ccs, svg, jQuery, AngularJS, d3.js, three.js, React)
- Alternative programming languages (Go, Rust, Erlang)
- Experience in backend development
- Experience with frameworks for Android/iOS/Win 10, Qt/QML on mobile.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices.
- Experience in using Doxygen or other similar solution
- Usage of Jira, Bamboo, Bitbucket/Git and Confluence
- AI and Big Data
