Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced resource to join our Project Team in Stavanger/Sandnes area.

Role

• Conduct complex topside studies.
• Manage, execute and monitor projects.
• Follow up strategies, business plans and processes for further growth within area of duties.

The Project Manager will reports directly to the Head of Projects Engineering Norway.

This position is based in Sandnes and travelling must be expected to sites or offshore when required.

Key responsibilities (not limited to)

• High focus on QHSE.
• Establish, follow up and deliver projects within budget and in accordance with agreed milestones.
• Internal and external reporting in accordance with requirements.
• Secure compliance of business with governing rules and regulations, client contractual requirements and internal procedures.
• Organize project in accordance with the project deliverables.
• Secure that project team works towards a common goal as set by the business and project objectives.
• Build and motivate internal resources, share experience and knowledge and promote improvements through best practice.
• Supplier follow-up as the case requires.
• Being our departments ambassador and promote our business towards main stakeholders internally and externally.
• Identify opportunities, engage in marketing and tendering work, client follow-up.
• Running stand-alone project packages may be expected.

Experience and Qualifications

• MSc / BSc within relevant subjects such as Petroleum Technology, Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering.
• Long relevant experience and/or additional competence may compensate for lack of formal education.
• 10 years relevant project experience.
• Proven track record at Project Manager / Technical Manager / Study Leader level leading multi-discipline tasks and multiple projects.
• Experienced within Brownfield / Greenfield studies and projects.
• MODU and shipyard experience will be an advantage.
• Ability to mature early phase studies through the various phases of a project.
• Documented experience with project execution phase.
• Experience with drilling & subsea systems and equipment are preferable.
• Offshore experience and holding valid certificates.
