Are you our next Senior Equipment Engineer - Tractor & Logging?

As we are growing our business in Norway, we are currently looking for highly motivated Senior Equipment Engineer -Tractor & Logging, to be based at our headquarter in Stavanger. In this position you will work with our world leading technology and some of the most experienced personnel within Well Intervention services.

You will have a vital role in supporting the processes of acquisition, modification and maintaining company cased hole tractor & logging equipment, with special regards to mechatronics.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Support workshop and manufacturer related to specification, maintenance and modification of cased hole tractor & logging equipment
• Support product line functions with regards to operational performance of equipment
• Propose changes to work processes and methods to increase efficiency, quality or HSE, and assist in implementation to ensure standardization
• Lead in equipment fault finding/ investigation processes
• Initiate, develop and drive modifications/ development projects towards equipment manufacturer and/ or workshop
• Register and analyse equipment performance and drive improvement activities related to equipment and maintenance program efficiency
• Training of relevant functions with regards to mechatronics competency
• Provide input to the Asset Management Execution Model, as well as to company HSEQ processes

Requirements:

• University degree (Bachelor level) within mechatronics, instrumentation or mechanics Technical college graduates or skilled technicians with minimum 5 years documented experience within relevant equipment may be considered
• Documented knowledge of mechatronics design disciplines
• Documented knowledge of relevant industry standards
• Fluent in Norwegian and excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Certificate of apprenticeship in mechatronics in addition to academic background is preferred, but not a requirement
• Documented knowledge of cased hole logging tools and/ or well tractor technology will be preferred
• Systematic and analytical skills in combination with ability to lead and collaborate in teams
