Bayer Norge søker Development Manager Radio Pharmaceuticals
To lead and manage globally the technical development of radiopharmaceutical projects we have one open position as Development Manager in Oslo. You will be a part of our Chemical & Pharmaceutical Development (CPD) organization and work in an international and cross-functional environment. Oncology is one of the strategic key areas for Bayer and radiopharmaceuticals are key projects in the future portfolio.
As our Development Manager, you will be responsible for allocation of necessary resources from relevant functions and ensure the resources are utilized effectively.
Major tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Global CPD Technical Development Teams (TDTs), being responsible for all CMC development activities, timelines, deliverables, cost planning and act as key driver for CPD in Global Project Teams.
- Being accountable for establishing drug manufacture for Clinical supply at external Clinical Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), the delivery timelines and the budget incl. cost planning and control.
- Identify CMC project risks, critical issues and define/execute suitable mitigation measures to minimize business risks.
- Represent CPD in external collaboration.
- Participate in negotiations in the course of activities.
- Build up a strong internal expertise in the field of manufacturing concepts for radiopharmaceuticals in order to generate new IP and improve existing manufacturing and distribution concepts by identifying and assessing innovations.
Required qualifications:
- University degree in Natural Sciences (MSc or equal); PhD will be of advantage; mid- to long-term professional experience (5-7 years) in CMC development functions; in-depth knowledge in technical development of radiopharmaceuticals will be of advantage.
- Experienced in pharmaceutical business environment including manufacturing and supply chain aspects.
- In-depth understanding of GMP- / regulatory requirements in the field of radiopharmaceuticals, development, production and distribution will be of advantage.
- Good leadership skills and proven track record of successful management of research & development projects and teams.
- Demonstrated experience and competence working with cross-functional and multicultural teams, including interactions with external companies
- Demonstrated scientific / technical leadership abilities through major contributions to new or advanced technologies and / or new concept research areas in the field of Radiopharmaceuticals.
- Very good negotiation, communication and networking skills, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Service oriented (serve stakeholder / customer needs)
