Opportunity to join us as Head of Clinical Operations
Our Vaccibody team are now looking for an experienced Head of Clinical Operations, who will have the overall responsibility of leading and overseeing the operational activities in clinical trials across the development portfolio in Vaccibody. The role will provide leadership to a growing team of clinical trial managers and will be accountable for the end-to-end operational management for all phases and aspects of Vaccibody’s clinical trial conduct. Head of Clinical Operations will report to Sr Director, Development Operations.
Job responsibilities
The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership and development of the Clinical Operations Team Develop/co-develop clinical development plans for Vaccibody’s asset programs
- Ensure CRO oversight and monitor clinical CRO performance
- Accountable for all phases and operational aspects of Vaccibody`s clinical trial conduct; planning, start-up, execution, follow-up, timelines and budget
- Ensure compliance with GCP and other relevant guidelines related to Vaccibody’s trial activities and conduct
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of Vaccibody`s at all time relevant GCP related SOPs in collaboration with QA
- Provide support to development of clinical trial related documents, such as trial synopsis, clinical trial protocol, CTR etc.
Education and experience requirements:
- Relevant Master degree within Life Science
- Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience, and proven experience from a leadership/manager role within clinical operations/clinical project management
- Experience from drug development projects working in cross-functional teams combining clinical development and project strategy
- Profound knowledge of GCP and regulatory procedures and guidelines
- Solid experience in clinical development activities, including adaptive clinical trial designs
- Excellent clinical trial management, financial and analytical skills and expertise
- Experience from vaccine, ATMP or biologic product development is an advantage
- Oncology knowledge is an advantage
- English fluency is required

Location
The person will ideally be positioned either in Norway or Denmark. However, the position may also offer a flexible working arrangement.
