Director/Manager, Business Development & Partnering
After successfully passing the regulatory phase, Asamedic is now ready to introduce Coxor© to the market. The company seeks a successful person to handle the out-licensing of Coxor© to the pharmaceutical industry world wide. The right person will come into a flexible and dynamic pharma start-up with great potential in terms of saving lives. This role could either be a permanent role or a freelance contract.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the out-licensing of Coxor© to the global market
- Establish and manage relationships with pharmaceutical companies in the various markets
- Lead negotiations and signing licensing agreements
- Maintain the ongoing dialogue with licensing partners
- Responsible for the juridical framework of the licensing business in coordination with our law firm
- Facilitate the dialogue between licensing partners and CMO (contract manufacturer, currently in Poland)
- Monitor license partners, set goals and be an advisor and bridge between Asamedic’s various licensing partners for utilizing experiences and synergies
- Work with regulatory expert in the matters of market specific regulatory requirements
- Budget and prioritize markets and evaluate licensing partners on a yearly basis
- Act as a sparring partner and backup for the CEO and be part of the management team
The successful candidate is:
- A skilled negotiator with a successful track record in the pharma industry in Europe/globally
- A good strategist who knows what it takes to ensure a long-term partnership and who can prepare concrete action plans based on overall strategies
- Analytical, with the ability to work structured, independently and with a problem-solving mindset
- Proactive and solution-oriented, with strong implementation ability
- A strong relationship builder with the ability to communicate with different types of people and functions at all levels of the organization
Qualifications:
- Relevant education in economics, pharmacy, law or equivalent at master's level
- Experience in business development and licensing of pharmaceuticals
- Business language is English, written/oral

You will have a high degree of freedom to form the position and your workday, and work closely with CEO, Chairman of the Board and our Advisory Board, as well as our consultants. There is no requirement that the right person must live in Oslo/Norway, however, some commuting must be expected. You will also be involved in much of the company’s doings and be a part of forming the overall strategy. We operate in modern offices at Rosenholm Campus outside of Oslo with many social benefits.
