Quantafuel – seeking competent people to help us save the world! Want to join a first mover in the quest to build a circular economy for plastics? Quantafuel is a Norwegian company that upgrades plastic waste into recycled products. We are strengthening our sustainability team and are looking for a dedicated person who can help us maintain and develop an excellent sustainability profile in a rapid growth phase for the company.
The main purpose of the position is to be a key driver in developing Quantafuel’s sustainability and ESG policy. You will be a hands-on resource that will help collect robust documentation of Quantafuel’s environmental impact and make sure Quantafuel lives up to the highest standards of environmental transparency.
The Sustainability Advisor will become part of a creative competence environment in the company. Quantafuel is committed to diversity and seeks people with various backgrounds and competences.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Promote and coordinate the company’s work within ESG and sustainability, inside and outside the organization.
- Coordinate documentation of Quantafuel’s environmental footprint, including Life Cycle Analysis for Quantafuel’s products
- Responsibility for certification of the company’s products and plants
- Follow up sustainability priorities with Quantafuel’s project managers
- Set form and content of Quantafuel’s sustainability/ESG reporting
- Stay ahead of relevant policy, regulation and reporting trends in the field of ESG and sustainability and help Quantafuel seize opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the sustainability field
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex processes involving many different sources and types of information
- Experience with LCA analysis
- Up to date knowledge of best practice ESG reporting
- University degree within a relevant field
- Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbally and written
- Preferred: Experience from consultancy/industry
