We are looking for a proactive administrator to support our Clinical team
Nordic Nanovector is looking for a Clinical Trial Administrator (CTA) to strengthen the company’s diverse, dedicated and highly experienced Clinical team. This role is a one-year contract which may be considered for an extension or permanent employment.
The primary responsibility of the CTA is to provide administrative support to clinical projects. The CTA is involved in most activities including preparation for study set up, conduct and completion of clinical trials. You will work on the frontline of communication with project stakeholders, ensuring timelines and targets are met. With a proactive approach to work, the CTA performs assigned tasks independently and/or coordinates and assists with general administrative functions as required.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to Nordic Nanovector’s clinical projects and to the clinical project team under direction of the line manager, or other designated clinical team members.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with ICH-GCP regulations, relevant company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and in accordance with the product strategies of Nordic Nanovector.
- Update and maintain clinical systems and databases within project timelines.
- Manage inventories for clinical study tracking systems in accordance with the demand of the studies, which may include establishing, set-up and maintenance of tracking, i.e., bioanalytic lab samples shipment tracking.
- Assist and/or have defined responsibilities in maintenance/monitoring of Trial Master Files and electronic filing/archiving.
- Coordinator/administrative support of long-term or time-limited projects, i.e., Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), Pharmacovigilance project.
- Administrative support to Chief Medical Officer, clinical scientist, medical writer, statistician, and Pharmacovigilance.
- Administrator, key-user and/or back-up function to various IT systems/databases.
- Meeting coordination and minute taking.
- Ad hoc corporate administrative support.
- Other archiving support.
What we are looking for:
Education, Certifications and Experiences:
- BSc in Life Sciences (or similar), or an equivalent combination of education, training & experience.
- Proven experience of working in an admin support role in project management and/or clinical trials setting
Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to work.
- Service minded, ability to work independently and priorities tasks.
- Willingness to complete routine administrative tasks while gaining exposure to regulations pertaining to clinical research.
- Ability to plan, multitask and work in a dynamic team environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to form productive professional relationships both internally within own function, cross-functionally and externally with health care professionals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English both orally and in writing. Norwegian, or another Scandinavian language, is preferred but not essential.
- Quick learner, especially with regards to IT systems.
- Committed and inspired by the mission of our company to bring safe and effective new therapies to patients.
Reporting line, location, and compensation:
The position reports to the Clinical Research Support Manager and is based at the company's headquarters in Oslo, Norway.
Please note, we are not able to offer relocation support or support with work permits for this position, nor can it be carried out remotely.
