Air Freight Forwarder

We are expanding, and we are looking for an Air Freight Forwarder to join our team. 

Job description:

• Planning, execution and follow up of national and international air transport assignments (import/export).
• Pricing of single assignments
• Handling of required import/Export documentation
• Communication with clients, airlines, subcontractors and our global network partners
• Registration of orders, invoicing and handling of vendor invoices in CargoWise
• Handling of billing / settlement of accounts through Cargo Account Settlement Systems (CASS) / CASSlink
• Customs clearance
• Strategic, long term follow up of customers and airlines
• Participate and contribute to bid processes

Qualifications:

• Substantial experience from airfreight operations
• Experience from air chartering
• MSc/BSc degree within logistics & supply chain.
• Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education

Personal skills:

• Result oriented and service minded and willing to go the extra mile for our customers
• Good negotiation skills
• Systematical and have good order
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Good verbal and written communication skills, Norwegian and English
• Extensive computer skills (Experience from CargoWise would be an advantage)
