Key Account Managers - Service Business Worldwide
Syncrolift create solutions for shipyard docking and launching of ships. We have delivered 250 installations worldwide and is today a solid company with a revenue of 400-500MNOK. We are part of a larger technology group of companies, Nekkar ASA, which also is listed on Oslo stock exchange.
Our service business started up in 2016 and is now a growing and important part of our business. We have built the infrastructure of the company with offices in Miami, Dubai, Singapore and Mumbai. We want to continue and strengthen our growth by employing Key Account Managers. Although market leaders, we believe we have a long and exciting way to go before we are reaching any mountain tops.
We compete worldwide – so we need people with a competitive minded attitude – a forward leaning attitude. Experience from similar business is important. Your most important tasks are:
· Find new customers – grow our market share.
· Build a loyalty between Customers and Syncrolift.
· Build a lifecycle mentality with our customers.
The position is based out of our head office in Vestby near Oslo. Our experience is that face to face meetings with customers increases our chance of winning – so extensive travelling is expected. The position reports to the Global Service Manager.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Actively seek out and build new relationships with shipyards / service
customers.
• Follow up existing customers in their area and within their responsibility.
• Continuously develop strategy for customer base, sales activities, and Life
Cycle Management.
• Prepare offers in accordance with the company's guidelines, both simple spare
part offers and extensive tenders.
• Assist and collaborate with sales managers in other regions.
• Report sales activities and order intake.
• Together with the Global Service Manager, prepare yearly budgets for the area
of responsibility.
COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION
• Engineer with MSc or BSc degree or other relevant education or experience,
both Commercial and Navy.
• Both strategic and operational sales and business skills with experience from
similar position.
• Good technical understanding, preferably at system level. Operational
experience from shipyard is a plus.
• Proficient communication skills in oral and written English. Additional
languages are a plus.
• General IT competence, preferably with experience from CRM / ERP systems.
• Master MS Office programs.
