We are hiring a Supply Chain Manager for our global team in Oslo!

JOB SUMMARY
The supply chain function within Magseis Fairfield provides exciting and dynamic opportunities to learn, develop, and implement meaningful contributions to the organization. The global supply chain team operates cohesively and serves as a steward of the company’s goals and finances by liaising with internal and external customers and operating in the best interest of Magseis Fairfield.
We are now looking for a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manger with excellent knowledge in procurement and logistics processes to join our team in Oslo.
Our new Supply Chain Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors and will be the key interface for operational support towards the Data Acquisitions Team. The Supply Chain Manager will be part of identifying, developing and managing the global supply chain and assists in the management of the sourcing process. He or She will effectively manage end-to-end projects, supplier management and support cross functional teams in execution.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Function as a business partner and team player with all key stakeholders and actively supports and participates in a cohesive, collaborative work environment
- Prepare and generate the Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ)
- Identify creative strategic and cost-saving purchasing opportunities
- Negotiate purchase orders and awards purchasing contracts
- Continuously monitor and manage medium to high dollar purchase agreements, long-term contracts, and consulting agreements
- Actively manage procurement and associated contracts
- Identify new suppliers, supplier qualifications, selection and development, logistics and sourcing per the requirements set forth within Data Acquisition and QHSE
- Prepare purchase order status reports
- Assist in developing and maintain the supplier database
- Interface closely with Engineering, Quality, Facilities, Administration, suppliers, and all levels of management to evaluate proposals, statement of work (SOWs), and other technical documents
- Assist during mobilisation and demobilisation phases
- Generate spend reports, analysing trends, and making associated recommendations
- Draft, review, and enforce procedures and work instructions
- Manage the procure-to-pay lifecycle and the flow of information, invoices, and goods
- Prepare shipments for domestic and international travel, through various modalities (i.e. sea, air, and road transport)
- Monitor shipping, clearance, and delivery of all shipments imported to and exported from Norway
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering equivalent experience in a related field.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5-10 years of supply chain experience in an offshore operations environment
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Extensive knowledge in best practice of Supply Chain processes, contracting, procurement, contract administration, supplier qualification processes, vendor selection and account development, logistics, and sourcing
- Solid Project Management training and skills required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Supply Chain or Project Management certification a plus
- Dangerous Goods/Hazardous Materials logistics experience desired
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong MS Office skills required
- Working knowledge of ERP systems also required, with Oracle experience desired

- Valid Passport
- Domestic and international travel as required
