DevSecOps Engineer
To strengthen our standard software group, we are looking for an ambitious and skilled candidate for the position of DevSecOps engineer.
The Standard Software group is the team that develops Q-Free’s back-office software products for our Tolling and Smart City solutions. We build our systems on a modern tech stack with an agile CI/CD software development process.
The back-office software product for Q-Free’s tolling solution currently uses docker containers and DockerSwarm as orchestration tool. We are looking for an ambitious engineer who wants to become Q-Free’s expert on DevSecOps and takes the responsibility to maintain and improve our development, security, and operations stack. Knowledge of CI/CD security, containers, and container orchestration, e.g. Kubernetes is great to have but we are also looking for you if you are willing to learn the skills needed. You initially will be paired with a senior level expert who you will work closely with to become the expert yourself.
Your work location can be either Trondheim or Oslo. You will work closely with the team in both locations but also with team members abroad in for example Portugal.
Our solutions are delivered all over the world, you will have the opportunity to work closely with highly skilled colleagues located both locally and internationally in many of Q-Free’s worldwide locations.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain a fully automated CI/CD process
- Maintain different dev, test, stage, and production environments
- Security design for our software products
- Deliver input for IT infrastructure design
- Become a DevSecOps expert in Q-Free
Your key qualifications and experience:
- A container-in-mind skillset
- Kubernetes experience is a benefit
- Docker and DockerSwarm experience is a benefit
- Experience with GitHub is a benefit
We are searching for a person with:
- Strong will to learn new technologies and keep up to date on new technology in field of expertise
- Good communication skills
- Good oral and written skills in English
- Solution-oriented mindset and good collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and with high work capacity

Work location is either Trondheim or Oslo, with a preference for Trondheim.
