Logistics Coordinator

For our headquarters in Trondheim, we are looking for an ambitious candidate for the position as Logistics Coordinator.

As our Logistics Coordinator in Q-Free, you will work in our Supply Chain department that manages an international portfolio of suppliers, customers and contract manufacturers in Norway and Singapore. This is a new position, and we are looking for a candidate who has experience within either electronics, sourcing, or planning. The position reports to our Logistics Manager in Supply Chain (Tolling division).

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate, plan and manage the implementation of new product revisions and prototypes
• Follow up gating parts that needs to be sourced through alternative sources
• Improve delivery time and follow up customized product deliveries in Q-Free’s system projects

Your primary work tasks will be:

• Introduction of new product revisions:
  • Coordinate introduction of new product revisions with R&D, production group and manufacturers
  • Plan phase-in of new revisions
    
• Coordinate deliveries in system projects:
  • Follow-up of project-specific deliveries
  • Take lead on initiatives to improve delivery times
  • Project follow-up in our ERP system
    
• Purchase of components in collaboration with production planner and manufacturers:
  • Components for production are normally sourced by our manufacturers. In some situations, like today’s component shortage, we need to assist and purchase from alternative sources

Your key qualifications and experience:

• You have higher education on BSc or MSc level
• You solve tasks with a systematic and structured approach
• You have a genuine interest in and understanding of electronics, and preferably some experience with purchasing components
• You are a curious and proactive team player who enjoys working towards many internal and external interfaces
• You have fluent oral and written skills in English and Norwegian.
