OneSubsea Horsøy is looking for Mechanical Engineers for the Test and Assembly departments
We are having increased activity and are looking to strengthen our departments at OneSubsea Horsøy, Askøy.
The OneSubsea Processing site at Horsøy, located outside the city of Bergen, is a purpose made facility for assembly and test of Topside and Subsea products.
The Horsøy facility was officially opened in 2012 and consists of more than 27,000 m² of indoor assembly and test areas. It was built to meet the oil industries customers’ demand for extensive testing and the layout was designed with high focus on HSE, efficient assembly, and logistics.

The positions are in Bergen, and local connection will be preferred.
The role shall ensure good coordination with all discipline involved in definition and implementation of assembly and test activities in Horsøy.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in construction and technical development of test / assembly activities at OneSubsea Processing.
- Design and analyze test components.
- Produce process drawings and operating/assembly procedures (PFDs, P&IDs, schematics).
- Participate, plan and lead systems test and assembly activities for delivery projects.
- Preform, plan, and follow up for internal and customer test EFAT/SOT
- Technical support and assistance to contractor and other OneSubsea personnel.
- Maintain a clear focus on HSE throughout tests and construction.
Requirements:
- Minimum engineering degree BSc, technical college or similar level of relevant education.
- Hands on attitude, with a practical mindset.
- Main fields of study preferable: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer, or technical college within mechanic.
- Good English and Norwegian communication skills (Written & Verbal).
- Understanding of repair processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interface with customers and 3rd party vendors.
- Knowledge in PC applications (MS word, Excel, MS Project, PPT etc.)
- Knowledge in CAD applications (Creo, Acad or similar) an advantage.
Nice to have:
- Good knowledge of subsea production systems.
- Experience from the oil and gas industry or other mechanical industry.
- Trade Certificate within in mechanical trades
